Signs Elements & "Quality"

Hello my friends. Tonight I want to talk about our elements and signs “quality”. All the zodiac signs are set into 4 elements. These are Air, Fire, Earth, & Water. Each of these elements has very distinct characteristics. Air & Fire are masculine and Earth & Water feminine.  Let’s start talking about Air signs, which are Aquarius, Gemini & Libra. The most intellectual signs, they are connected by mental functions. They are great at communicating but they are also a bit detached & aloof. Independent, creative, unconventional. Listen girls, if you need lots of space in a relationship, you should seek guys under these Air signs. They can and like to be in “open relationships”. I know a few Geminis that can handle it. Ok maybe just one. Fire signs are very passionate and dynamic. These individuals cannot stay still. They are always doing something. They are adventurous, ambitious, very outspoken, and very dramatic. Always in constant change and evolution.  These are Sagittarius, Leo, Aries. Water signs, here we go. Caring companions and very intuitive. Very girlie and can be very “catty”. They can have borderline-psychic intuition. Very intense feelings. Family is very important and very domestic. Lots of emotions. These are Cancer, Pisces & Scorpio. And Finally Earth signs: Capricorn, Taurus & Virgo. Practical, Practical. Loyal & stable. Change is not the strong suit for earth signs.  Lots of substance and style. (lol) Some can be a bit snobby. Very realistic. Need to have a schedule.

Let’s talk a little bit about signs quality. The three qualities are: Cardinal, Mutable and Fixed. Cardinal signs are the “enterprise”, “idea people”.  These signs also start every season. They are Aries, Cancer, Libra & Capricorn. They tend to direct their energy outward. Good leaders, forceful & dynamic. But sometimes they can be controlling, inconsiderate and demanding. Mutable signs are connected to adaptability. These signs end the seasons. Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. Very flexible and comfortable with change. Love conversation and adventure. And last is the Fixed signs. They symbolize stability and determination. They fall in the middle of the seasons. Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. The role of the Fixed signs is to maintain, uphold and defend positions, responsibilities, goals or desires in everyday situations. These signs are the least welcoming of change. You can never control or change the mind of a fixed sign.

"New Horoscope" "Ophiuchus"

This is very confusing. Basically what has been presented is a new sign called Ophiuchus (man holding serpent) . Ophi is actually a constellation and it has been around for a while. The zodiac that we follow was created by the Babylonians, 2,000 years ago. It is important to know the difference between the Zodiac and the constellations related to them. The days that each zodiac sign fall under and the constellation differ slightly because of the "precession of equinoxes". .  This precession  it refers to the gradual shift in the orientation of the earth's axis of rotation. Basically the Sun, the Moon and other planets can cause a small move to the earth's axis. Gravitational forces. According to the constellation boundaries established in 1930 by the International Astronomical Union, the "ecliptic" passes through a thirteenth constellation situated between Scorpio & Sagittarius. Ecliptic has to do with the Moon eclipse. This is quiet fascinating but complex. The 13th constellation is Ophi and is not recognized as part of the Zodiac but it is in the Sidereal Astrology followed by the east, mainly Japanese culture and hindu culture. The babylonians had no idea about this precession of axis back then. For example, our Zodiac starts with Aries, and the sun is in Aries from 21 March until 19 April, in the Sidereal zodiac Aries is 14 April to 14 May and in the constellation the sun is in Aries from 19 April to 14 May. I did my best, this is complicated. Lets stay with what our Babylonians created, it works perfectly and I think is most accurate. I mean I think you are the perfect example of a Sagittarius woman. positive traits: Boundless optimism, open to spiritual ideas, always sees the best in people, inquiring mind, humanitarian. Negative: Self-indulgent, quick to judge, blunt, impatient, manipulative, procrastinator because of poor planning, refuses to acknowledge any negative feeling. Match in heaven for you: Aries & Leo, believe it. Avoid Taurus & Cancers. Sag & Virgos are an erotic timebomb waiting to happen. Where the problem can arise is in the Virgo's perfectionism and the Sag  sloppy approach.

Aries Man vs. Cancer Woman

Hello my friends. Let's talk about a bit about Aries men. I have a girlfriend who is very interested in dating one. But o-oh, she is a Cancer! Let me start talking about those cancers. Cancer is cardinal water sign. The crabs can be very emotional and perceptive. Is the MOST sensitive sign! They love making people happy, and  are amazing, loyal friends. A bit smothering and need stability and security in love. Very traditional and family oriented. People can find this individuals a bit confusing because their moodiness can be illogical. Lol. Tell me about it They have a tough exterior but don't be fooled, they get hurt easily. Crave material comforts & security. Is easily offended and never forgets an insult. Positive traits: emotional, compassionate, wonderful host, supportive friend, great homemaker, humorous. Negative traits: clingy, hypersensitive, unpredictable moods, holds grudges FOREVER, they can get obsessed when in love. Matches made in heaven for Cancer: Taurus (the best), Cancer and Pisces (telepathic bond with a Pisces but careful with Pisces self-destructive conduct). Scorpio is a good match as well but their emotions move veryyyy slow. Cancers usually move quickly and fall in love fast. Now let's move to Aries. Aries is a cardinal fire sign. Full of energy (example of this is my friend Vilmarie). A train that can go on and on without stopping. Very decisive, always have to be doing something. Over the fucking top. Hot-headed and impatient. Positive traits: thirst for life, fair-minded, hard-working, courageous, quick-witted. Negative traits: self-centered, impatient, violent temper, no concept of other's feelings. Listen up my CANCER friend, if you want this Aries attention: engage him in interesting, passionate conversations. Have a sharp, clever wit & make him laugh. They think they are smarter than everyone else so being witty will help. First date advise: have fun, talk and try to connect. They like sexy tomboys or sporty types. Dress a bit sexy. Hello everyone. I am very excited to write about astrology and how it has changed my life. My beautiful girlfriends have inspired me to start this blog. We talk about astrology, love, life and people everyday. I want it to be fun, fun, fun. I am not a professional astrologer but do read a lot about it. It has helped be more self aware and I have improved my interpersonal skills in my private and professional life. I don't jump into judging people based on first impressions anymore. As all of you know, when I am introduced to a person I ask them pretty quickly when their B-day is and go from there. (oh my god this blog will help me improve my english grammar, please patience is my second language). So anyway, the thing about astrology is that can help us understand people's personalities traits and why they behave the way they behave. You can get a deeper insight about friends, colleagues ( a PLUS),  family, lovers and yourself. I will write based on articles and books that I've read, ok?! 


Because we are still under the Capricorn days, will like to write a few things about the sign. To my fellow Capris:
Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign.  Very down to earth, or the most down to earth of the Zodiac. Stable, reliable, calm and dependable. We get things done!. We are rule by planet saturn, which rules structure and discipline. Ha, I am not feeling very Capri. Capricorns are blessed and cursed with a clear perception of the real world. Our worlds are very black & white. I have a few capricorn friends and all of them share this same trait and the fact that we tend to be pessimistic. Capris also frowns a lot! Often the 'rock of the family, obsessed with budget & finance planning, Love?, yeah yeah great, there are other important things like work, work and making it to the top first. Sex? high sexual drive and some even with secret fetishes. Believe it! Freaks, ugh. Capris look old when they are young, and young as they get older. Live a very long life, thanks to Saturn. Not sure what this means..Maybe they are less prone to addictions. Be straight to the point with a Capri or you will loose him/her in a conversation.
